I’m Ian Michalski. I’m a linguist with special expertise in Spanish, second language acquisition, and sociolinguistics.

I earned my Ph.D. in Hispanic Linguistics from Indiana University. I am an Assistant Professor of Spanish at Roanoke College in Salem, VA.
